Your price minus our floor is your profit. Once the payment is collected, your share moves to your Stripe account.
Words we use, in plain English
You will see these six words all over this guide. Here is what each one means.
- Floor price
- The lowest price we let you sell a product for. Anything you charge above it is your profit.
- Seller of record
- The business that legally makes the sale and takes the payment. That is Insert MD, not you.
- Hold
- We save the member's card but do not charge it until a clinician writes the prescription.
- Compounded
- A licensed pharmacy prepares a medication for one specific patient. It is not an FDA-approved brand product.
- Intake
- The health questionnaire a member fills out. A licensed clinician reads it before anything ships.
- Storefront
- Your own shop page with your name, logo, and prices. It is the link you send members.
04 · Rules and safety
You run the store. Clinicians run the medicine.
This is the part people worry about, so we will be direct. You are allowed to do this, and the reason is that you never touch the medical decisions. This page explains how it works. It is not legal advice, and your agreement and the clinician always win.
You are not practicing medicine
- You do not own the practice, hire the prescriber, or direct any care.
- Licensed clinicians read every health form and decide who gets treated.
- Your shop is a store with your name on it, not a clinic behind the front desk.
You are not billing for medical care
- Members pay Insert MD. That money never runs through your register.
- You earn your price minus our floor on orders from your store.
- That is store profit, not a payment for a prescription being written.
Compounded medications
- A licensed pharmacy prepares it for one patient after a prescription.
- It is not FDA approved. Never advertise it as if it were.
- Never promise a product is available in every state.
Four things staff must never say
- No diagnosing. No naming a dose. No promising pounds lost.
- Never say “we will get you approved.”
- The safe line: fill out the intake, a licensed clinician decides.
One rule covers most of it.
If a claim would be illegal for a clinician to make, it is illegal for you to make with our logo on it. When you are not sure, send it to us before you post it.
